Biblical Questions to challenge Christians and Jehovah's Witnesses

 Genesis 3 - Critical thinker's Analysis

  • God made the serpent that could speak, think, and destroy the future of humanity? Genesis 3:1 "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"
  • Why did God make Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden if he knew that the serpent/Satan (if you are a Jehovah's Witness) had access to it? Would you put your children in the house of an enemy, where you know the enemy could harm your kids?
  • After the original sin, why did God go "looking" for Adam in the Garden of Eden? If God knows everything, he didnt need to "look" for Adam. He would've known that Adam had already eaten the fruit. Genesis 3: 8&9: And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
  • God Punished Eve after the original sin by saying in Genesis 3:16: "Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee." Why do animals CRY in pain when they are delivering their little ones? Animals also suffer the same birth-pains that women do, and animals too have complications, just like women.

  • The God who knows it all, didn't he know the risk involved in leaving the tree of life in the Garden along with the tree of good and evil? The risk was simple, Adam would live forever. Was that really a risk? Or did God have so much hatred after the fact, that he did not want Adam to live a long life anymore? Genesis 3:22 "And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:"
  • Where is / was the Garden of Eden? Did God use a ground different from the Garden of Eden to make man? Genesis 3:23 says: Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. Genesis 2:8 says: "And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed."
  • Why did God give the command for Noah to eat flesh after the flood? If Noah had 2's of each animal, how many species did he actually eat?
